We sell Bendix friction because we truly believe there is a difference in the performance of friction. The performance of brake pads/shoes is greatly determined by the coefficient of friction of the compound used. Brake manufacturers devise their own formula for each OEM requirements (compound, sugg. weight load). Bendix pads/shoes are built to factory original specifications (compound, heat and fade characteristics) as marked on their boxes with the "OEM" certification.

Upgrading to ceramic brake pads is normally only recommended for applications that came originally with ceramic brake pads or for customers complaining of excessive brake noise.
